The drive from Sangster International Airport (MBJ) to Ocho Rios

• You leave Montego Bay eastbound past Rose Hall and Greenwood, then join the north coast highway proper at Falmouth.
• The Falmouth stretch passes the cruise pier and the turn-off for Martha Brae rafting — a natural break point roughly a third of the way.
• Past Duncans and Rio Bueno the road runs almost at sea level through Discovery Bay and Runaway Bay, where several all-inclusive resorts sit on their own beaches.
• The final section climbs slightly through Saint Ann's Bay and Priory before dropping into Ocho Rios past Dunn's River Falls.
• There are toll-free, well-lit sections most of the way, and this is generally the most predictable long transfer we run — timing rarely varies by more than 15 minutes.

What happens when you land
