Negril has no commercial airport of its own, so essentially every visitor arrives through Sangster International in Montego Bay and drives the coast. It is about 50 miles and, realistically, an hour and twenty minutes to Seven Mile Beach — longer to the West End cliffs. This is the transfer where vehicle comfort genuinely matters: it is long enough that a cramped shared minibus with five hotel stops turns into a three-hour ordeal at the end of a travel day.
