3 hrsThe 180-foot climbable waterfall on the edge of town. Go early or late — mid-morning on a two-ship day is shoulder-to-shoulder. Water shoes are essential and rentable at the gate.
Blue Hole (Island Gully)
3 hrsRiver pools, rope swings and cliff jumps in the hills above town. Rougher and more adventurous than Dunn's River, and usually far quieter.
Mystic Mountain / Rainforest Adventures
4 hrsChairlift over the canopy, bobsled run and ziplines directly above Ocho Rios. The best rainy-day and mixed-age option in the area.
Green Grotto Caves
3 hrsLimestone caverns at Runaway Bay with an underground lake, twenty-five minutes west. A natural stop on the way in from Montego Bay.
Nine Mile — Bob Marley Mausoleum
6 hrs with driveAn hour and a half inland through the St Ann hills to the village where Marley was born and buried. The drive itself is a large part of the experience.
How the day works
