Negril

Private Negril Tours and Excursions

Negril rewards guests who leave the beach for a day. The southwest — Black River, YS Falls, Appleton — is within reach from here and far quieter than the north coast attraction circuit. Because Negril is spread along seven miles of beach plus the cliffs, a private vehicle also solves the practical problem of getting between the West End and Seven Mile Beach after dark.

Negril tours we run most

Rick's Cafe sunset run

3 hrs

The West End cliff-diving institution. Go for sunset, but arrive by late afternoon for a table. We wait for you rather than leaving you to find a ride back in the dark.

Black River Safari

6 hrs with drive

Ninety minutes south, a mangrove and crocodile boat tour on Jamaica's widest river. Usually paired with YS Falls to make a full day.

YS Falls

7 hrs with drive

Seven tiered cascades on a working estate in St Elizabeth — rope swing, natural pools and shaded lawns. Quieter and more scenic than Dunn's River.

Blue Hole Mineral Spring

3 hrs

Twenty-five minutes inland from Negril. A deep natural spring with a jump platform, plus a pool and bar. Half-day sized and easy on the driving.

Appleton Estate rum tour

7 hrs with drive

The Nassau Valley distillery in St Elizabeth. A scenic inland drive, a proper factory tour and a tasting at the end.

How the day works

  1. 1Pickup at your Seven Mile Beach hotel, West End cliff property or villa gate.
  2. 2Southwest trips leave early — Black River and YS Falls together need a full day with a lunch stop at Middle Quarters or Bamboo Avenue.
  3. 3Evening runs to Rick's Cafe or Norma's are booked as a return trip so you have a known ride home.
  4. 4Fares are per vehicle and fixed at booking; attraction entry is paid at the gate.
